Trinity Rodman is slamming Wimbledon coverage that mentions her aranged father Dennis Rodman. After a Wimbledon commentator describes the soccer star by using her relation to aranged dad Dennis Rodman, she slams the mention of the NBA champion while highlighting how she wants the focus to remain on her boyfriend Ben Shelton’s journey through the tennis tournament. Trinity writes in a July 17th Instagram story. For Ben’s matches, he has his family there as his support system, which includes his dad. My dad’s not even in my life. No need to bring him up during his matches when I don’t even want him talked about during mine. The Olympic gold medalist, whose mom is Michelle Moyer, adds of Ben’s success at the tennis tournament. It’s him and his loved ones moment. Thank you. Beyond the unwelcome descriptor during the match, Trinity is making sure to support Ben, with whom she confirmed her romance in March throughout his journey into the second week of Wimbledon. At the time, Ben writes in his March 18th Instagram photo dump, which includes a photo of the couple smiling in an elevator as Trinity kisses him on the cheek, “I’ve been focused, but I’m steady climbing. Woman, don't flatter yourself. The Tennis announcers are mentioning your father's name because he is worth mentioning. No one would be talking about you, you would NOT be sitting at the Wimbledon with Shelton's dad, if it wasn't for Dennis Rodman, a Basketball Hall of Fame inductee. Dennis Rodman might have not been the kind of father you had wanted/expected, but please, you don't have to disrespect him.

LOL…outside the US, Trinity Rodman is just the daughter of a famous basketball player that was on Michael Jordan's team….same with Scottie Pippen's daughter. In GB, she is nobody….
Keep in mind, Wimbledon is NOT in the US…..
It's a FACT that no one would know who she is if not for Dennis Rodman….and THAT is based on his success with Michael Jordan…so, one could rationally say, that Trinity Rodman is known because her dad played with Michael Jordan….One could ALSO say that no one would know who Larsa Pippen is if she did not marry a guy that played with Michael Jordan
Women's soccer isn't very popular IN the US, and even less so outside of the US……
If she doesn't want to be known as Dennis Rodman's daughter, perhaps she'd prefer to be known as Ben Shelton's girlfriend…..being a women's soccer player just isn't enough to get much fame unless you are causing issues off the field like Rapinhoe did

A lot of people are quick to comment that without Dennis Rodman there is no Trinity and no one would notice her without the Rodman name… but that is completely untrue.
Trinity is young and already in the process of building her own legacy and making sure that the right people that helped her along the way get recognized for it (not DENNIS RODMAN)

Personally I only watch and support men’s soccer, I have only ever seen women’s soccer a handful of times. Soccer in the US is not the most popular sport… but it is definitely the biggest sport in the world. One thing I do know about Womens soccer though is that the U.S Women’s National Team is one of the best teams in the world. Trinity has been in the discussion of the future of U.S. Women’s Soccer. She is seen in USSF coaching courses as an icon and role model for young women and children.
I knew of Trinity Rodman as a rising soccer star, then later found out she was Dennis Rodmans daughter. She makes it known that her success is not because of him.
This comment section has little to no knowledge of who she is but were quick to comment on the situation. She is in the soccer world, not basketball world. Her relationship with her father isn’t like LaVar Ball and the Ball Brothers.
Anna Hall was the real catch but he still learning.
