In a recent interview with Allure magazine, The Outer Banks actress opens up about how the public has fixated on her appearance over the years, telling the outlet, “My body image is my Roman Empire. People love to pay attention to weight specifically. It’s very bizarre to me.” Before continuing, “From season to season on Outer Banks, my appearance has changed with lots of factors. Stress, breakups, healthy or unhealthy habits with food. It’s normal life.” But the camera swear to God picks up everything. like, “Damn, can I not be on my period, Can I Not Have a Beer the Night Before?” Meline first appeared on the hit Netflix series at just 22 years old when it first premiered in 2020. Now at 27, she says she continues to struggle with imposter syndrome in her career. It causes a little menty beat, mental breakdown every now and again. I have these crazy anxieties and I get freaked out, adding, “I do have imposter syndrome and that’s just very human, but also I can do it. I’ve gotten this far. I can’t think too hard about it because then I’ll get really existential and treat myself badly. The only thing that can smooth the friction is time. The actress has previously opened up about struggling with disordered eating, admitting to women’s health in 2020 that she would often overex exercise. I worked out multiple times during the day. All I knew was I wasn’t achieving a particular body image and so I was angry. I was harming myself and starving myself in the process of trying to achieve that. As for her dating life, she shared in the interview that it’s difficult due to her demanding travel schedule and her priority right now is just embracing the moment. I want to experience this life on my terms first before I do all the relationship stuff. When I go to work, I get pretty locked in. I get really, really overwhelmed. Sometimes when the priorities start stacking up and I’m trying to figure out where to put my energy.
