Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner enjoy a rare public outing with their kids. The actors, who were married from 2005 to 2018, reunite at a Boston Red Sox game for a fun family night out. Ben, Jen, and their kids, 16-year-old Finn and 13-year-old Samuel, sit front row at Fenway Park July 11th, watching the Accountant stars hometown team beat out the Tampa Bay Rays 5 to4. And while this outing marks one of the rare times the former couple has publicly gotten together with their kids, that doesn’t mean Ben and Jen don’t have a close co-parenting relationship. With the Oscar winner, who also shares 19-year-old daughter Violet with Jen telling GQ in an interview back in March, “I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Gardner who’s wonderful and great and we work together well.” going on to add that much of their success has been how they’ve learned to jointly navigate the tabloids and scrutiny over their lives. Making sure their children know the truth, explaining, “We used to have a thing my ex-wife and I when we would see something on a supermarket stand, we would say, well, you know, this isn’t always true because if it were, you would have 15 brothers or sisters or whatever the number of stories is where they said that your mom was pregnant.” adding, “I know what’s going on in my life and also really more importantly, my kids know.
