Ashley Roberts is getting candid about her medical scare. Speaking to the Times UK July 8th, the Pussycat Doll singer speaks about her breaking point and doctors thinking she had a brain aneurysm. She says there were no discussions around how is your mental health. It was a different era. Now artists are coming forward to talk about their struggles and concerts are rejigged. I remember once we were in three countries in one day. Eventually my body just got to the point of shutdown. I was really really sick. Ashley says she developed a reliance on Xanax while getting little sleep, eating poorly, and living a life on the road. The pop star was eventually admitted to the hospital in London, where directors rushed her for an emergency MRI, suspecting a brain aneurysm. It turned out to be stress, exhaustion, and burnout. Ashley says she left the Pussycat Dolls in 2010 with eczema all over her legs, shingles across her face, and a stomach ulcer. [Music]
