Dolly Parton Taking A Break From Songwriting

My husband passed away three months ago. I know, but when you ask me if there’s stuff that I’ve started, haven’t finished. Several things I’ve wanted to start, but I can’t do it. I will later, but I’m just coming up with such wonderful, beautiful, you know, ideas, right? But I think I won’t finish it. I can’t do it right now because I got so many other things and I can’t afford the luxury of, you know, of getting that emotional right now. Right. So there are times like that, things like that that would we’ll star you a little bit, but I’ll write something else though if it if it comes. So I’m I’m just putting that all on hold. But that’s my that’s my special that to me is like my joy and it happens just to be my job, right? But it is also my my joy. So, and I love it when when I just get a great idea that just comes and then I think, well, I got to go put this down somewhere.

    1. Sending love to Dolly, such an incredible, giving human being. Khloe should have taken this chance to be more authentically empathetic to relate to Dolly. She has gone through it with her exes and bit her tongue for her kids sake. It's all about being a strong woman in the face of adversity and surviving.

    2. I was a child (31 now) and my father would put the Jolene cd on in the car, it was the best times of my life. Just driving and listening to Dolly Parton ❤ and i'm Norwegian. She's loved here in Norway by many! I am very sorry for her loss. I just know they had a rock solid marriage.
