Kim Kardashian Clears Up Rumor She “Forgot” North West at a Hotel in 2014 | E! News

Kim Kardashian is here to keep you up to date on a decade old rumor. The Kardashian star recently addressed a 2014 video of herself leaving a Paris hotel empty-handed before turning around to retrieve her then toddler Northwest. Shutting down long-standing speculation that she had forgotten to bring her daughter outside to greet the awaiting paparazzi. Kim wrote on her Instagram stories July 11th, “I wanted to show off the look before holding her because her outfit didn’t match mine.” She added, “I didn’t forget her.” Kim had also clarified that she didn’t ditch North, who she shares with ex-husband Kanye West. Shortly after the incident, as she noted on X in October 2014, “I went to the car to make sure the car seat was in because the day before we had a car seat issue. Do you guys really think a one-year-old would be inside the lobby by herself? Oh, wait. She was already waiting to check out, lol.” And these days, it’s practically impossible to overlook North, now 12. After all, as Kim put, she’s grown up to be quite the outspoken tween. Kim told Vogue at the 2025 Med Gala, she’s a big critique, but it’s pretty good. You know, her critiquing. In fact, the mom of four said her oldest offers feedback from a really positive place where it’s just like, “Hey, even if that’s not my style, I’m not going to critique that. Just be you.
