Christian Bale’s Kids Make Rare Public Appearance | E! News

Christian Bale makes a rare appearance with his family. The Oscar winner made a rare outing with wife Civy Blazic to catch their 20-year-old daughter Luca Bale walk in Doljin Gabana’s Alamoda fashion show in Rome on July 14th. Dressed in an all black suit, Bale arrived to the event holding hands with his wife, who he married in 2000. Meanwhile, their 11-year-old son, Rex Bale, who was dressed in a dark suit with the matching shirt, followed closely behind. For his part, Christian turned heads by debuting a dramatic hair transformation. a buzzcut. Although Christian likes to keep his family life private, the Oscar winner is certainly no stranger to iconic movie transformations. He recently looked unrecognizable in picks for his upcoming Madden biopic alongside Nicholas Cage. Previously, the Welsh actor underwent a dramatic transformation that included putting on weight for his portrayal of Dick Cheney years ago. While the 44year-old actor told star.com he had never worked with a nutritionist or doctor to gain weight before, he decided to do so for this role. His portrayal in that movie won him a Golden Globe back in 2019. And of course, we can’t forget his role in Batman Begins where he had to pack on 35 pounds of muscle. Bale told Train at the time, “I wasn’t the size that director Christopher Nolan wanted, so I had to cut down 20 lbs or so just before shooting. I was a lot beefier at first. That cutting down was achieved by going on a calorie deficit and running more and for longer. I cut a lot of carbs out of my diet for those few weeks as well.
