2025 ESPY Award Winners: See the Complete List | E! News

Several athletes are adding a new trophy to their collection after this week’s SP Awards. The 2025 SP Awards was hosted by Shane Gillis in Los Angeles July 16th and saw the most famous names in the athletic world come together to celebrate this past year in sports. For the category of best athlete, the GOAT of gymnastics, Simone Biles, took away the win in the women’s division, while Sha Gilchis Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder snatched the men’s title. 21-year-old Koko Goff stole the award for best tennis player, posting on X July 17th. Woke up to finding out I won another Esby. Thank you. Squin Barkley won big throughout the night for best NFL player and best play. But the biggest award of the night was reserved for former WNBA player Diana Terrasi and former US WNT soccer star Alex Morgan, who both received the icon award for their exemplary work in athletics. Past recipients have included Kobe Bryant and most recently Nick Sabin, who are recognized for their legendary impact in sports.
