R.I.P
Is the official YouTube channel of E? Why does he sound funny sounds like an automated voice people don’t sound like that? Once again the YouTube community doesn’t ban YouTube channels like this one?
Her character's maiden name was Miller, not Martin. She was extremely popular in the 60s, a proto-Erica Kane. I remember watching her on ATWT with my mom growing up, and she was attacked by fans who called her awful names, though she was playing a character. Lisa didn't give anyone a break, especially in one scene where she went off on Susan Stewart for having an affair with Bob Hughes while he was still married to Kim. One of my favorite storylines was her returning to Chicago to see her second husband, John Elridge, who was dying. They showed her past with him in flashbacks from the nighttime soap Our Private World, where she had an affair with John's brother Thomas, and her acrimonious relationship with MIL Alma Elridge, and it was revealed she had a long-lost son, Scott, who was born during the time OPW ended and her return to ATWT. RIP Eileen 💔, you are an icon who paved the way for many female soap characters, who are flawed yet strong women.
She will be greatly missed but forever remembered. prayers and blessings go out to her immediate and extended, family and friends. She is now joining Connie Francis, and many other fantastic artists, entertaining everyone in heaven. May they all rest in heavenly peace and eternal paradise. May they be fondly remembered and kept in our hearts. God bless us everyone here and those whom have crossed over to be with their fellow angels.❤🙏
I grew up on CBS soap operas 😊 ! Lisa was just one of those iconic characters on CBS daytime soaps! I think she had a few ex husband's lol by the time I really had an understanding of soaps in the 80's. She wasn't really a bad girl anymore. The ex wife of Bob Hughes the mother of Tom….she might have been married to John Dixon also . Wow to think 50 yrs on As the World Turns the storylines indeed. God Bless all her family and caretakers those who loved her in her real life. Thank you for sharing her with us . To the older actors of the soaps still around we salute you and wish you good tidings. I'm glad she was given accolades by the industry while she was still alive .Hopefully she was taken care of well financially by her actor's pension. I think we might be surprised by the pay inequity women actresses faced in those years when she began.
LEGEND❤🎉
She was very special and talented
R.I.P eileen as lisa on as the world turns
What a loss we've lost a legend.
My mom's fave soap! 🌎🌍🌏
End of an era!
Wow, this it is so that they canceled As the World Turns, Guiding Light, and other soaps for talk shows and game shows that ended up getting canceled so many of the actors and actresses have passed since their cancellation you forget how much time has passed since then
