Coldplay Fan Reveals If She’s Made Money From Astronomer CEO Video | E! News

You didn’t think it was going to be seen by 120 million people? Absolutely not. Grace Springer is revealing herself as the face behind the viral Coldplay video. Nearly a week after she posted a video of astronomer CEO Andy Byron and an unidentified woman dodging cameras at the band’s concert, the 28-year-old shares insight behind the viral moment on the July 21st episode of This Morning. In the moment when I filmed it, I didn’t think much of it, but of course, everyone was kind of chattering. There was over 50,000 people at the concert, so it was a hot topic. Um, but it wasn’t until after the concert where I was debriefing the moment with my friends, and I said, “Let’s review the footage. Let’s see if it really looks that bad.” And I think it does. Grace then shares if she’s financially benefited from the video’s popularity. I’ve actually made no money from the video itself or the views. It’s not monetized. And while she never expected her Tik Tok clip to lead to allegations that the CEO was having an affair with one of his fellow employees, Grace admits that she doesn’t regret capturing the controversial moment. I definitely feel for Andy’s wife, Megan, his family, and everyone else who’s been hurt in the process. Um, but as I said, there was over 50,000 people and I’m not the only one that caught it on camera. So, if it wasn’t me who uploaded it, I’m sure someone else would have. And presumably, you didn’t think it was going to be seen by 120 million people. Absolutely not. And as for how the executive has been navigating the public attention, well, just days later, Byron resigned from his position at Astronomer with the company sharing on LinkedIn, “Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently that standard was not met.” The statement continued, “Andy Byron has tendered his resignation and the board of directors has accepted. 1. I don't think her behavior is any better than the couple she filmed. They were positively wrong but she also upended the lives of some innocent people.

    2. Uploading that footage was careless and hurtful. I'm not condoning the behavior, but I also don't condone publicly outing people. Let the Universe do its thing.

    3. She's on here laughing & showing herself as though she has done something decent.
      Her time is coming!
What you did to others will come right back at you.
