Anne Hathaway Teases First Look for ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ | THR News

Anne Hathaway is giving fans a first look at her character Andy Saxs in The Devil Wears Prada 2. The actress took to Instagram on Monday to share this photo of herself in costume. She captioned the pic, “Andy Saxs 2025.” The film is in production two decades after the original movie hit theaters and is set to shoot in New York and Italy. In the 2006 film, Hathaway starred as an aspiring journalist and recent college graduate, who becomes the personal assistant to Meyer Stre’s character, Miranda Priestley, the editor-inchief of Runway Fashion magazine. They’re so different. Something funny. In addition to Haway, the sequel also sees Street, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tui reprising their roles from the original. In the new film, Priestley, still the head of runway, will have to contend with the headwinds of publishing with the magazine now in a diminished state. Blunt’s one-time assistant will now be an executive at a luxury brand conglomerate that advertises with Runway. The Devil Wears Proda 2 will hit theaters May 1st, 2026.
