Armchair Expert podcast host Dax Shepard joked with the actor July 21st that he’s told his and Kristen Bell’s daughters for years that the song is about him only to discover in his preparation for the episode that Alexander was named as the mystery tall man in the song and the Big Little Lies alum reacts to the rumor.
