You’re going to be getting big D’s in prison. Kaylee Gonzalez family didn’t hold back at Brian Cobberger’s sentencing. As Coberger was sentenced to life in prison for the 2022 murders of University of Idaho students Kaye, Ethan Chapen, Madison Mogan, and Xander Kernodal, Kayle’s mom, Christy Gonzalez, shared a scathing victim impact statement, telling Brian in the Ada County District Courtroom July 23rd, “You are entering a place where no one will care who you are and no one will ever respect you. You will be forgotten, discarded, used, and erased. You will always be reme remembered as an as a loser, an absolute failure. And when those prison doors slam shut behind you, I hope that sound echoes in your heart for the rest of your meaningless days. I’m confident that the men in prison will have their way with you in more ways than one. You will finally get what you wanted, physical touch, just probably not how you were expecting it. She also included an additional message from one of Kayle’s sisters. Quick message from our youngest daughter. Aubrey wanted to say, “You may have received A’s in high school and college, but you’re going to be getting big D’s in prison.” 30-year-old Coberger, who will complete four consecutive life sentences for the killings, remained stoic and only blinked at the remark. Kayle’s other sister, Olivia Gonzalez, also delivered her own blistering takedown of the defendant, who previously accepted a plea deal that would spare him from the death penalty if he pleaded guilty to the four killings at the off-campus residence and one count of burglary and waved his right to appeal. How does it feel to know the only thing you failed more miserably at than being a murderer is trying to be a rapper? Did you recently start shaving or manually pulling out your eyebrows? Usually victims statements are not allowed to be this personally targeted towards the offender especially threatening statements so I’m honestly surprised this judge allowed it to continue and didn’t shut it down.
I’m not attacking the victims by any means I’m just stating that usually a judge won’t allow some of the things that were said.
