Kesha Gives Cassie Ventura Emotional Shoutout At Concert | E! News

Kesha shouting out Cassie Ventura for a heartwarming gesture. The singer performed at Madison Square Garden in New York City July 23rd and after the song Praying received a standing ovation from the crowd. Instead of taking all of the praise for herself, she decided to give a touching shout out to her friend Cassie Ventura, saying, “I” And earlier tonight, Cassie sent me flowers backstage. And like, I just want you to know that like all of this love is not only for me, it’s for anyone who survived anything that they shouldn’t have had to survive. On Twitter, the star also posted a photo of the flowers she received, writing, “Thank you, Cassie. Love you, sweet girl. My good luck angel for MSG.” Cassie testified against her ex, Shawn Diddy Combmes, in his sex trafficking trial that ultimately found the rapper guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in his federal trial, but acquitted on the more serious charges of racketeering, conspiracy, and sex trafficking. The sentencing is scheduled for October 3rd. [Music]
