Erik Menendez’s Daughter Shares Reason For His Hospitalization | E! News

Eric Menendez’s stepdaughter reveals the reason for his recent hospitalization. According to NBC News citing a post by Eric’s step-daughter Talia posted to social media July 23rd, he underwent surgery due to complications with both kidneys having multiple large kidney stones. She added, “Because Eric is in prison, there are often complications and delays with medical care. So, this continues to be a very stressful time for us. As you can all imagine, he is currently in pain and feeling nauseous, but is recovering. Eric’s wife, Tammy Mendez, previously shared an update on Eric’s health after the 54year-old, who is serving 50 years to life in prison along with brother Lyall Menendez for the 1989 murders of their parents, was diagnosed with what his attorney Mark Garagos called a serious medical condition. Tammy explained that Eric, whose specific diagnosis had not been made public at the time, has undergone his second successful surgery to treat his condition. She wrote on ex formerly Twitter July 23rd, “He will need a third surgery, which will hopefully happen soon. Because Eric is in prison, there are a lot of complications and delays with surgery.” She continued, “We thank everyone for their well-wishes and prayers. Additionally, we are grateful to CRT custody and medical staff who did their best during this difficult situation. [Music]
