Rachel Ziegler makes a sudden exit from the stage during Ivita. At the July 24th performance of the Andrew Lloyd Weber musical at the London Palladium. The celeb who stars as the late Ava Peron in the musical made a sudden exit from the stage without returning to kick off the second act with her iconic balcony rendition of Don’t Cry for Me Argentina. In fact, an eyewitness tells E-News that around 15 minutes into the interval, it was announced that her understudy, Bella Brown, would be stepping in to finish the show. The eyewitness recalls, “The interval lasted almost 40 to 45 minutes and then the balcony scene with Bella began. You would have thought the roof was going to cave in from the applause, even more so when she entered the stage for the first time after the balcony scene.” Bella later said on her Instagram stories after the show, “Today really showed just how important swings and covers are within this industry. They are the pillars of a show. A proud day to be at Avita.” Rachel is currently scheduled to return for the July 25th evening performance of the show. [Music]
