This is peak. And a harsh reminder that damn my life sucks.
Once upon a time, Glenn Close & I were working for the same organization. We were both waiting for smoothies at the nearby deli. When she saw my ID badge, she came over to me & asked about my role in the organization. I answered, she replied, “That sounds like a very important job.” I can still picture her sparkling blue eyes, seriously felt like the sun shined only on me for those moments. She was sincerely kind & cool to everyone else at the organization too.
I love me some Niecy Nash Betts, but no matter who is speaking as soon as I hear “Kardashian” I tune out immediately. It’s involuntary.
