So there’s no justification for blocking aid, but we’re totally fine with all the bombing and killing. Right.

Fuck all of these people who are only speaking up now and are just calling for aid. You don’t fucking fundraise for the victims of a serial killer but then give that serial killer all the weapons, assistance, protection, and immunity he needs to keep killing.

Nobody deserves to get killed just bc of where they live, no matter how old they are or if they’re men or women.

Apparently “Israel wants it” is enough of a justification for any US administration to support whatever evil Israel is committing…

Oh, look! Obama has found his way to Gaza genocide and time to talk against it now. Yay! Must be so hard for him to find time and speak against atrocities his own fellow dems helped furthering.

I’d be wary of supporting any politician who is only now supporting the cause, after spending two years not caring. Especially if their statements mention the plight of the hostages before the genocide, ethnic cleansing and starvation of the Palestinians. By putting the hostages first, they allow Israel to still look justified in their reign of terror.

This is purely optics. Obama (and the rest of Democratic establishment) helped Israel get here. He was cozy with Israel during the 8 years he was in office.

    6. I know it’s too late, but this is one of the popular political figures of our time, and I just pray it really makes a difference.

    7. Obviously very glad that some kind of tide is turning for Gaza, but is anyone else kind of bitter? Like what the fuck, all it took was photos of stuff they’ve been doing this entire time? And yeah, they’re starving, but we’ve known Israel has bombed and gunned down tens of thousands of citizens of a country that is 50% children for literal months. Starvation is the line, but sending missiles at children, resulting in them being maimed, and killed in agony was not?
It’s all so fucking awful. Even a ‘victory’ like we’re seeing now feels so hollow.

Him and Biden (ESPECIALLY BIDEN) have done unfathomable damage from emboldening Israel’s continued occupation and genocidal actions.

      Fuck them

Just like a moderate “Return the Hostage” rhetoric that has given cover to Israel to commit the genocide. Hamas has returned many hostages through cease-fire agreements and Israel broke the ceasefire each time murdering civilians.

So clearly they are all privy to undeniable evidence that points to a genocide/ethnic cleansing. They are all attempting to get ahead of that so when the truth comes out and is widely accepted they will be seen as being in the right side of history

Why are US leaders, including Obama here, reluctant to speak against the war crimes of Israel?

Because the music is about to stop and they’re getting ready to “have always been against this.”
