    First look at Netflix’s upcoming “Pride and Prejudice” limited series


    Joining the Jane Austen adaptation are Rufus Sewell as Mr. Bennet, Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet, Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins, Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley, Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham, Rhea Norwood as Lydia Bennet, Siena Kelly as Caroline Bingley and Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourg. Hopey Parish and Hollie Avery make their debuts as Mary Bennet and Kitty Bennet, respectively.

    Other new cast members include Anjana Vasan (“We Are Lady Parts”), Sebastian Armesto (“Gangs of London”), Rosie Cavaliero (“KAOS”), Saffron Coomber (“Three Little Birds and Die Zweiflers”), James Dryden (“Deadpool”), Justin Edwards (“The Thick Of It”), James Northcote (“The Last Kingdom”), Eloise Webb (“The Queen’s Gambit”) and Isabella Sermon (“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom”).

    They join previously announced cast members Emma Corrin (“Nosferatu”), Jack Lowden (“Slow Horses”) and Olivia Colman (“The Crown”), who lead “Pride and Prejudice” as Elizabeth Bennet, Mr. Darcy and Mrs. Bennet, respectively.

      Is that Emily Blunt second from left or am I blind? I’ll watch this, I’ll watch anything with Olivia Colman

      It’s cool they’re doing another series adaptation. I love the 1996 BBC series so much I could never get that on board with the film version (though I know it is beloved) because it felt like it missed too much out/moved too fast.

      This looks promising. In the grand british tradition of revisiting jane austen every few years (and shakespeare)

      (Shout out to we are lady parts, and underrated amazing comedy drama. Anjana vasan has good comedic chops, hope her role is a good one)

      Jamie Demetriou will make a perfect Mr Collins. He’s very good at playing cringe characters.

      Rhea Norwood kinda has iPhone face in this picture, but hopefully that’s just the image and her makeup/styling wont be so jarring in the show, as I wouldn’t say she has a particularly “fake” or iPhone face in good quality photos of her face directly.
