      They are only changing their tune now because we have gotten to a point where the atrocities are so loud and open that they cannot be hidden, and the damage is already done. All the limp liberals will be judged by history.

      Pisses me off so bad that this was something that they were told would happen long ago if they didn’t step in and they brushed it off and now when it’s at potentially irreversible stages they’re all talking about how horrible it is. So they had to be literal skin and bones for them to care but kids crying bc their stomached were empty wasn’t good enough I guess!

      Because their tunes are not really changing not in terms of anything that matters, most of the people speaking up as part of this manufactured wave of ‘condemnation’ are still genocide deniers and Israeli apologists.

      None of these people’s positions go as far as Bob Vylan’s nor are they anywhere near as honest.

      I must have missed something.

      What caused the 180 on politicians and media? Was it just too much horror to ignore anymore? Did someone influence them?

      It’s all performative. The politicians will make hollow statements and condemnations but change nothing about their material support to Israel. 

      The public figures/celebs will speak about a famine after managing to ignore 2 years of bombing sniping torture destruction etc. Still won’t use the word genocide though. 

      And none of them will hold Israel accountable for anything.  Years from now they can turn around and use these hypocritical statements as evidence that they were always against this.

      Right. It was perfectly fine to bomb and shot Palestinians, but starvation is a bridge to far? Make it make sense!
