My kids are 6 and 9 and I feel like THESE are the days of my life. We are having a blast together. I cherish every day. Even when I get tired and annoyed, I lay my head on the pillow at night and think about how much I love them and how thankful I am they’re in my life. So full of love in this house.

Being a dad doesnt end when they grow up Bob! Some of my fondest memories of my dad was doing things as a teenager, and though he was fairly sick the last few years of his life those times are something I wouldnt trade for anything

My kids are teenagers and I’m super proud of who they are becoming but I would be remiss if I said I didn’t long for the little kid days sometimes

I didn’t intend on crying before bed, OP. ðŸ˜
My oldest will start her last year of elementary school in a few weeks, and it is definitely bittersweet. I am so proud of her, yet I miss her being a baby sometimes.

I was wondering why the interviewer looked so familiar and I just realized I’m currently watching him on Orange is the New Black lmao

Love Odenkirk for this answer. I feel this as a mother.
So much truth. Those were the days my friend, I thought they’d never end.
Love him. This answer is just so genuine.
Had to share the time Bob was featured in Humans of New York:
