MGK Reveals Who Picked His & Megan Fox’s Baby Name | E! News
Machine Gun Kelly is revealing the mastermind behind his newborn’s name. On the July 24th episode of today’s 8 Before 8 video series, MGK shares he won the naming battle for his and Megan Fox’s daughter Saga. However, he wasn’t as lucky when it came to his first child, 15-year-old daughter Cassie, who he shares with ex Emma Cannon. As a father of two girls, what was the name choosing process like? Well, I lost the first one and won the second one. When you are 18 years old and you go to her mother and you go, “What if we named our kid kid?” It’s like, I get why she’s like, “Hey, man, shut up.” So, yeah, cuz that was one of the names. I was like, “If her name was Kid, that’d be so dude.” The singer, whose real name is Coulson Baker, welcomed Saga with Megan back in March. previously revealing during a June 20th appearance on the Today Show the inspiration behind her unique moniker. I think um well her journey, you know, the the the five years of her kind of her culmination of coming, disappearing, coming back again, disappearing, coming back again. Uh it’s just she is an epic story and that’s what Saga means. And I’m also of Norwegian heritage and so uh that’s a that’s a Nordic goddess of storytelling. So I I think that she has a storytelling future ahead of her. [Music]
Machine Gun Kelly explained how his and Megan Fox’s daughter’s name Saga Blade Fox-Baker came to be, while revealing the name his eldest daughter Casie was almost given.
