Well, it’s really shaping up here on both street ahead of the new Spider-Man film. There’s all sorts being delivered here. We’ve got signs. We’ve got American flags. We’ve got taxis down the road. We’ve got loads of people coming to see exactly what’s happening as everyone looks to see uh what’s going to be on show here. We’ve got bins. We’ve got all sorts going on here. Uh Eleron spoke to some Spider-Man fans to get their thoughts on what they’ve seen so far and what they’re looking forward to seeing. Yeah, pretty cool. It looks very much like New York. Um, yeah, it’s really cool. Uh, a lot of like street stuff out like street signs and like little post boxes and stuff, bins, benches. Um, a lot really cool stuff. And we saw there it looks like a a tank of some sort hauled into place. Yeah, some sort of tank that it looks like it might get dropped or something and saw it getting driven off the truck and everything which is quite cool. It’s really cool to see, especially in your own city, cuz I mean, I’ve watched all the films. So, it’s And I’m also a film student, so it’s nice to see all the set coming together. All the New York street signs, mailboxes. It’s really cool to see how it looks like New York as well. It’s just too exciting to wake up in New York City and like just uh see the old stuff being done. So, I’m also a big Spider-Man fan, so I’m just excited to see Glasco like that. Well, there will be a run through of course ahead of the actual filming itself, a rehearsal if you want to call it that uh as more and more vehicles will arrive and of course the actors will eventually come here as well and people certainly will be flocking to see them before the main event I’m told on Sunday. Sometime on Sunday, there will be filming going on here, as I say, with all the actors, and that’s sure to be absolutely full of people looking on and looking to see what happens in the Spider-Man film.

Movie fans were left flipping out after Spider-Man swung into Glasgow yesterday.

Filming for blockbuster flick Brand New Day means parts of the city will double as New York until August 15 as the £150million production gets underway.

The Marvel sequel, set for release next year, has led to Blythswood Street, Pitt Street, Wellington Street, and Bothwell Street being
draped in US flags and banners that people would expect to see in the Big Apple.
