"I was doing a movie in North Carolina with quite possibly the worst director to ever direct. Ironically, because of that, the movie never came out. And because of that, the movie went over and I had to pull out of ‘Hurt Locker.’ They offered it to somebody else, and he said no because it wasn’t enough money.”

I think it’s Daniel pritzker. The film was eventually released from what I can tell, but Anthony was replaced during reshoots after many years of the film being shelved.

    2. I think he’s talking about Ascension Day, which was filmed in 2007 (so around the time Hurt Locker filmed) and doesn’t even have a Wikipedia page. I can’t tell if it was ever released. It’s about the Nat Turner slave rebellion, so filming in North Carolina would make sense. The director is an actress married to John Singleton who has only directed one film. Could be?

    3. Omg lol. I met him on the set of Bolden in NC. Happened to be in the area and popped by to
watch and he came up and offered to take a picture. Which is very out of character for him, since he’s so infamously not friendly.
