Why Donald Trump Says “It’s Difficult” to Pardon Sean “Diddy” Combs
I’m being honest. It makes it more difficult to do. Donald Trump is sharing his honest thoughts about pardoning Shaun Diddy Combmes. Two months after saying he would quote look into the facts when asked about pardoning his former friend Combmes, who has since been found guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution, but acquitted on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. President Trump now clarifies his comments during an interview with Newsmax on August 1st. Shawn Diddy Combmes, right? Would you consider pardoning him? Well, he was essentially uh I guess sort of half innocent. Yes. I don’t know what they still in jail or something, but uh he was celebrating a victory, but he seems I guess it wasn’t as good as a victory. Uh probably, you know, I was very friendly with him. I got along with him great. Uh and uh seemed like a nice guy. I didn’t know him well. But when I ran for office, he was very hostile. He said some not so nice things about you. And it’s hard, you know, um, like you, we’re human beings, right? It’s and we don’t like to have things cloud our judgment, right? But when you knew someone and you were fine and then you run for office and he made some terrible statements. So, I don’t know. It’s It’s more difficult. It makes it more I’m being honest. It makes it more difficult to do. But more likely a no for Combmes, it sounds like. Okay. Questions about a potential pardon for Combmes came just days after the president pardoned Todd and Julie Chrysley for their tax evasion crimes. The duo, who entered prison in early 2023, had been set to remain incarcerated until 2032 and 2028, respectively before they were released on May 28th on order of the president. As for Combmes, the 55-year-old will return to court for sentencing on October 3rd following his conviction on the two prostitution related charges. His council was seeking 21 to 27 months while prosecutors are asking for 51 to 63 months per NBC News.

Defense asking for 21 month. That not much with 'time served.' Prosecution want 51 month. THAT gonna be difficult for Combs. BUT. He still out in 3+ year. If he guilty on racketeering charge, face 20+, backstab Trump during reelection bid, a recurring nightmare at night, but 3+, live n learn.
