Oasis Breaks Silence After Fan Fell to Their Death at London Concert | E! News

Oasis is grieving the loss of a fan after he died at their venue. According to the BBC, police said officers and medics at Wembley Stadium in London responded to reports that a man in his 40s had been injured at 2219 PST. The man was found with injuries consistent with the fall and was pronounced dead at the scene, a spokesperson for the force said. Police also asked those who attended the August 2nd show to comb through their concert footage and to come forward with any information about the fatal incident. According to the Independent, police added, “The stadium was busy and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage.” In a statement, the band wrote, “We are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night.
