Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones on Filming Their Mother-Daughter ‘Wednesday’ Scenes #wednesday
We see the mother daughter dynamic. I mean, it’s full on this season. We have that fencing scene. You know, the combative duel that we have verbally and emotionally throughout the 8 hours then lends itself to a physical duel. It’s such a hectic show and we have so much going on all the time that we actually maybe had one rehearsal together uh before shooting it. And uh even half the time we were shooting it, we weren’t even always together. Uh but when we were I think there was a very obvious difference and some of that tension just because uh we’ve had so much time with these characters and building that chemistry and relationship. It’s wonderful to give them a weapon. She told you know so many great anecdotes or stories while we were shooting which was very fun. You fenced a little in Zoro if I remember correctly. That was my secret weapon. Excuse the pun. It’s like Jenna said have you done it before? Yeah. Yeah maybe once. Maybe. Maybe I have. Maybe. Anytime I can get just to play with Jenna or Tiger, it’s just I had so much fun.
