Chris Pratt Details “Beautiful Chaos” at Home With Baby No. 4 | E! News

It’s so fun. We get a front row seat to seeing everything in this premiere. You’re reunited with the cast. You guys are hugging. You’re taking photos. What’s it like to see everyone in New York City? It feels great. It feels so great. I love nights like tonight. It’s really a celebration for everybody here. The nerves are up and, you know, we we’re eager to present this thing finally to to an audience. And so, we’ve all climbed a massive mountain of work together. And I’m just trying to, you know, as as be a leader and just let everybody know this is a great moment and a night for them to all shine and and and celebrate. And it’s not work. It’s fun. And it’s it’s a big party kind of celebrate everything we’ve done. I need two shooters for a time-sensitive album. I’m offering you a chance to finish what you started to keep your brothers from danger. If we do this, eyes and ears in position. I need to know that you can find the grapes. You have my word. I’ve seen the show. It’s amazing. Phenomenal for you. What what getting to bring this to life and step back into this world? I know fans are really excited about it. Did anything feel different this time than when you did the terminalist? Yeah, definitely. The tone uh shifts into something more of global espionage and that you take it out of the darkness of the sort of psychological thriller that uh season 1 presented and and open it up into something that’s more of a a global spy type of movie. We bring in elements of the CIA and and MSAD and uh the different um you know under you know you know dark uh the dark work of of of uh the clandestine operations of people sort of uh at the at the helm and and what that does to the human soul. And so we’re trying to maintain that authenticity and still a love letter to the spec ops community but we’re focusing more on the CIA and MSAD aspect of uh special operations and ground branch of the CIA. With such an intense show, is there anything that you do specifically when you go onto set? Do you have any like physical things, mental meditations that you’re like, “Okay, now I’m really into character. This is so James.” You know, I and the limit the comparisons of actors to Navy Seals will stop here. But one thing I I’ve noticed by hanging out with these guys is that they do incredibly intense things, but in the times that they’re not being intense, they’re really having fun and they’re really cutting it up and there’s a camaraderie and a brotherhood and sort of like elevating each other’s spirit. So, there’s a lot of that. It’s actually a lot of fun to shoot these things, but when it’s time to, you know, they call action and and you’re ready to go, you do you have to root it into something very real. And usually it’s it’s rooted in me talking to Jared Shaw, my partner on this thing, and him just telling me, “Hey, remember you you’re dangerous. You’re a dangerous person here, and which me I’m not a dangerous person, but when I’m playing one, I needed to be rooted in that.” So, he’s kind of my muse for this. He’s actually James Reese in real life. So, uh, that’s how we do it. I know you’ve had a busy summer on the screen, but also a busy summer at home. New baby Ford. What is it like in your household right now? Oh, it’s beautiful chaos, man. Absolutely hectic and and and wonderful. I’m drinking up every moment I can when I get to be home. It’s It’s been glorious. We feel very blessed. What does a perfect summer day look like for for you and your family? I It’s It’s the girls are just now starting to swim in the pool with their goggles on. So, I’m going down. I’m teaching you how to dive down to the bottom of the pool and pick things up. It’s a It’s a pool party. We got music playing. We’re grilling and we’re swimming and and soaking up the sun.
