Police Share New Details After Designer Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra’s Death on Hamptons Yacht

Authorities are piecing together the death of Martha Nolan Oslatara after the fashion designer was found dead on a boat docked at Long Island’s Monta Yacht Club. The Suffach County Police Department is sharing new details about the case in a press release. The August 6th update notes an autopsy conducted on Martha Nolan Oslatara. The woman found dead on a boat in Montalk on August 5th did not show evidence of violence. Her final cause of death is pending further examination. Officials shared in the press release that East Hampton Town police arrived at the scene after a man who found the 33-year-old’s body called 911 around midnight. Although CPR was administered on the designer per authorities, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The Monta Yacht Club, which sits on a sprawling 16 acre waterfront property, emphasized its commitment to working with officials. A spokesperson told CBS News, “We are saddened to learn of the tragic incident that took place. Our team is cooperating with law enforcement in their ongoing investigation and remains committed to the safety and well-being of our guests and staff. Martha was a regular in the Hamptons as her brand East by East, which sells swimsuits, resort wear, and accessories, opened their summertime pop-up location at Gurnie’s Montalk Resort and Seawater Spa, which is 6 miles from the marina.
