Man, I miss him. This is one of the few celebrity deaths I have cried over. (I hope there hasn’t been info that’s come out that he was problematic.)

3. He was friends with Kelly Cutrone?!? I read her book If You Have To Cry Go Outside years ago when she was on The City and had her own show. So crazy seeing her randomly haha

I’ve told this story on this sub before but it’s topical.
2003 I was walking down a busy Vancouver street talking to my mom on my red Nokia. A figure was walking towards me wearing the brightest, wildest pair of tiger print orange and black sneakers. I had never seen anything so fluorescent orange.
As I was wondering who the would wear such wild shoes, I realized:
1. It was Robin Williams
2. He was holding his hand up to his ear pretending he was talking on the phone going “Aha, aha…. yes mom!” in a high pitched voiced. Doing an impression of me!
I gasped and pointed like a total loser and he laughed and kept walking.
Robin Williams made fun of me while wearing tiger print orange sneakers!
He was RIDICULED at the time for his dress sense. Seriously. On every ‘worst dressed ‘ list constantly.
I’m sure he’d get a kick out of all the Reddit subs that keep posting how cool his outfits were!
His body hair was so remarkably coarse.

This made me miss him terribly but everyone was so lucky to have him for the short time we did 💕
