General Hospital’s Rena Sofer Leaves Hollywood After 35 Years | E! News

General Hospital’s Reena Sofur is leaving Hollywood after 35 years. The General Hospital star, who plays band manager Lois Ceruo on the ABC soap opera, announces she’s moving out of Los Angeles after nearly 35 years. She writes in the caption of her August 4th Instagram post, “Yes, I’m getting emotional. I’ve had my children in LA, met the man of my dreams, and created an incredible life there. I had amazing success in the biz and made all my lifelong friends who I will miss desperately. According to Reena and her husband Sanford Bookstaver, with whom she shares 20-year-old daughter Avalon Leon Bookster, they are moving to New York State with their five dogs. She adds in her post, “Thank you, LA, for being you.” And now on to the quieter and calmer times. E! News has reached out to ABC for comment on Reena’s departure, but has not yet heard back. However, a source close to the 56-year-old tells E! news on August 7th. There has not been a conversation about her leaving the show. [Music]
