Maluma stops his concert in Mexico City to scold a mother who brought her 1-year-old baby without ear protection: “That is an act of irresponsibility. And you’re swinging him around as if he were a toy. That child doesn’t want to be there.”

Srsly wtf is wrong with ppl? I understand life shouldn’t stop when u have kids. And it is quite challenging to find someone reliable to look after ur kid for a couple of hours. But it is never impossible. Put some effort and planning if u re going to a concert. Poor kid prolly was stressed a lot even Maluma noticed it.

Sounded like he said a lot more than that. I wonder how far into the concert is this and if she stayed after this.

    3. if you point this out to parents who do this, they get defensive. please protect your kids. yes, you are allowed to go out and have a good time. but, your kids’ safety is now more important than your concert, grow up and get a babysitter or give the kid some damn headphones.

This and to a smaller extent movie theaters it’s not the place for a baby don’t like it? Find a sitter or realize a child WILL stop you from doing things you love without proper planning

    5. Honestly venues and festivals need to sell ear protection for kids at the door and force people to buy it if they show up with kids with no protection. Or ban kids. I’ve seen it too many times and it means permanent ear damage

      Can I ask a parent question as a non-parent?

I went to a WuTang show last month – my first, but not my husband’s or (apparently) the folks who brought 2 kids under 10…

Y’all, I got sooooo high just sitting in the audience. Like, I didn’t recognize the finale song because the cloud of smoke had settled right in the high cheap seat where we were sitting. I had so much dry mouth.

I didn’t mind, but I wondered what the parents and kids were thinking. Like…at any time do you think “I’ve made a terrible mistake” or do you just YOLO it cause it’s weed and in a few years they’ll do it on their own?

    7. She had to have left after this right? And did non of her friends try to talk her out of doing this? I imagine if shes close enough for Maluma to see her she’s with ppl

I would absolutely die of shame, but also would never do this. Reminds me of the young father who went to a Taylor swift concert standing room only section, and put the kid who was in a car seat, on the freakin floor!
