Why Josh Duhamel Decided to Leave Hollywood
Josh Dell is opening up about his decision to leave Hollywood. During an interview with People magazine published August 10th, the actor gets candid about the reason he wanted to move his family out of Los Angeles for a quieter lifestyle in Minnesota, sharing, “I make movies and TV shows, and I love it. I truly do love it. But I had this calling to go and really do things with my hands again, fix things, make things, and just do the basic things that we take for granted.” adding, “I’m really more of a guy who wants to stay true to my roots and get back to the basics, hone whatever basic skills I need in this world of massive technology to do the basic things to provide for my family. That’s really what it’s about for me. And for Josh, who shares 18-month-old son Shepherd, with wife Audra, in addition to eldest son, Axel, whom he shares with ex Fergie, being able to go off-rid on a lakeside property has allowed him to reassess his priorities.” He continues, “It’s so back to the basics. We get so accustomed to all these luxuries and these amenities that we have. And I think that’s what this is for me. It’s an opportunity to get back to the basics and really enjoy the simple things in life. And that’s family, that’s friends, that’s making memories. [Music]

Wise!!!
Hollywood is dead
That’s crazy. A lot of celebrities are leaving in Hollywood
Just watched his new movie where he was living off-grid. I can never get that time back. 😳
I love L.A., but it’s VERY shallow. It’s fine if you’re single. With kids, raise them OUT of L.A.!!!!!
Yesssws
Good for him, respect it
Scripted entertainment was eliminated for Instagram/TikTok. NEXT!!!
I wondered what happen to him.
Dude has barely worked in the past 20 years, the decision to leave Hollywood wasn’t exactly his choice. When actors no longer work, they have to find other ways to make money or they starve just like everyone else. The best thing to do is start lucrative businesses while you were on top.. Then you can bow out gracefully.
I'll comfort myself with Timothy Olyphant…
Good for him.
Seems like a good guy. You dont see that in the acting industry.
