It’s equally mystifying and embarrassing watching my country speed run into authoritarianism, knowing full well so many people in this country sit in front of their TVs and froth at the mouth in satisfaction at this. Members of my own family included.

      I accidentally played “Ding Dong the Witch Is Dead” from someone’s “When IT Happens” Spotify playlist as I opened up the Washington Problems IG account (don’t live there, just follow the acct) this morning. I thought the audio was coming from the account and thought IT had happened while I was working out. I was so excited and was about to call my best friend when I started scrolling through the carousel, confused why the audio doesn’t match the martial law update. And then I realized it was from my Spotify and not the post and got all bummed.
