unfortunately for gavin (and mayor pete, while we’re at it) his triangulating on trans rights makes him an unelectable loser to me.

    2. Not a fan of Gavin but I’m glad someone is talking back and using the same style of rhetoric

Gavin Newsom sucks, but the enemy of my worst enemy is tolerable for now. At least his tweets are funnier.

As a Californian I’m not telling you not to enjoy this but if you’re expecting a lot (or anything) from Gavin Newsom except for his soft launching of his presidential campaign, you’re going to be disappointed.

I’m tickled he’s been speaking his language. 💀 it’s so funny. It’s actually not. But it is.

This thread is a great example of how rational people end up supporting people they hate that do bad things

This isn’t to disparage anyone but more for showing how we aren’t so different from others.

People will say well the Palestinians elected Hamas, or this other people elected this other group while we consider the bad guy. Yet we would fail to recognize or see how/why this happens.

However, we are seeing it now. Americans have a big bad they hate and who is harming society, so now people will rally behind a guy who may in fact not care about them at all in a certain aspect but realise that in the moment you’d rather that than the alternative of trump.

People might elect or stand behind people who may ultimately be their downfall but in many cases it was either that or certain death/destruction.

I’m not living for Newsom’s podcast guests. I am living more for JB Pritzker’s actions, over words.

I can’t wait for 2028 where the presidential debates are about who hates trans people in sports more and who has the policies that can harm homeless people the most
