Earlier today, Donald Trump awarded KISS with a Kennedy Center Honor. It’s unclear whether Trump is aware that frontman Gene Simmons previously criticized him for allowing “cockroaches to rise to the top” by normalizing racism and conspiracy theories.

The list of honorees is definitely more “legitimate” than I expected, but Kiss with their past statements, Gloria Gaynor with her gay anthems and Michael Crawford as the original Phantom of the Opera definitely rubs me the wrong way.
No matter the former prestige of the award, it’s a shame all of them will happily accept an award from a racist, treasonous, rapist.
Anyone who accepted this award is an enemy. Period. As long as they are alive, ensure they don’t benefit from the consumption of their products.
That’s how you vote with your dollar.
KISS doesn’t need this pathetic “award”. 10 bucks says they say “thanks but nope”
