They are the most precious pictures. Kate Goslin shares throwback photos of her kids amid her son Colin’s recent comments. In a Tik Tok posted August 11th, the mom of eight shares never-before-seen photos of her kids from 2010. And the former Kate Plus 8 star gets emotional as she reflects on how quickly time has passed. While walking her dog in the clip, Kate tells viewers, “I just wanted to preface and tell you a story about the photos I’m about to show show you. It was in 2010. Um, so the kids were six. Maddie and Carol would have been nine. Uh, Deanna, our makeup artist friend, do you remember her from our show? She came one summer morning and we decided she was going to do makeup on the girls and mustaches and beards on the boys. So, she came, we did it on the patio um of our Pennsylvania house. They are the most precious pictures. I totally have forgotten about them and I came across them the other day and I cannot wait to share them because the kids are so happy with the result and they’re so cute and it was such a fun little silly fun summer project to do together and um I like I said totally forgot about it. So, I hope you enjoy these pictures. Let me know what you think. They’re really cute. I wish I could go back. Kate then shares the photos in the clip which she captions the good old days. The Tik Tok post comes just after her 21-year-old son Colin shared a candid message about his estrangement from his siblings. On August 7th, Colin, whom she shares with ex John Goslin, shared a photo with his seven siblings on Tik Tok, writing, “Born to be a team, us against the world.” In the following slide, he then added, “Forced to do it alone and wondering every day what our lives could have looked like.” He elaborated further in the caption, seemingly calling out his parents’ choice to put their family on TV in their initial reality series John and Kate Plus 8. He wrote, “Forced apart, pitted against each other, all the fame and money in the world. But what about kids being kids?” Of his siblings, Colin said he will always love them more than anything. And admitted he’s cried behind closed doors thinking about the memories we could have shared. Back in 2023, Colin blamed his mother for their broken family dynamics, accusing Kate of being quote physically aggressive and verbally very abusive in the past. At the time, Kate’s rep issued a response to Colin’s allegations, telling Fox News, “She never wants to comment because she always knows that this gets taken out of context. She doesn’t want to comment. Doesn’t need to. The record speaks for itself.” He continued, “The facts bely the truth. Whatever took place, the ones that are truthful are the ones that took place. When I boarded in grade 12. My board dad would call the show “Jon and Kate the B&:ch I hate”
From then on I started to really see through the facade. Kate was so annoying all the time and Jon just a chill dude. She did him dirty. She thinks we love her. But we all see through her distinctions
