Margaret Qualley got asked about Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, despite being on the ‘Today’ show to promote her new movie ‘Honey, Don’t!’: “I don’t know anything, but we’ll all be excited to listen to music.”

    1. Why does she need to answer this question when it quite literally has nothing to do with her? Yeah her husband is friends with TS but it just feels so disrespectful to combine their identities. Sorry if I’m missing something

    2. If her husband actually worked on the album, I think this would be a totally fair final throwaway question at the end of the interview. Same as, say, someone ending an interview with Colin Jost by saying “Hey, your wife’s huge movie’s about to come out! Have you seen it?”

However, it doesn’t seem like Antonoff was actually involved with this one so I don’t know what they thought they’d get out of her. Still, it’s the last seconds of the interview, might as well do a Hail Mary for content gold, I guess.

(I say this as someone who thinks all celebrity interviews of this kind are useless nonsense, so I don’t view this as too different)

    3. How does this show still exist let alone get multiple hours of air time every day? It seems like it is always this painful

    4. I don’t even think she said new music, it sounded like “.. we’ll all be excited to listen to music” which is infinitely funnier and I’m holding that as fact in my brain. 😂

    5. Taylor also stole the concept of her amazing Kenzo ad.

ETA: it’s too bad because Delicate is one of the very very few of her songs I like.

    6. I have a friend that screenshots the songs she’s listening to and texts them to me with things like “mood” “the vibe” and it’s always shit that I’ve either never heard or don’t like and this basically encapsulates my response every time
