Um, and we’ll get to her in a little bit, but I want to start off talking about Taylor Swift. Oh my god, this is my happy place because you know I am an OG Swifty day one fan. That was 20 years ago. Bammy, thank you. Thank you, Bammy. And what a blessing. What what a what a real exception to the norm that 20 years later people still care about new music from Taylor Swift this much. It it it it doesn’t happen that way. Trisha. Trisha. Um, I obviously watched the Taylor and Travis and Jason podcast interview in full. Over two hours of my time. I’m so busy, but I made time for that. And there are some theorists who think that Taylor was being shady towards Blake Lively at at various points during that chat. Most specifically when she was talking about how she doesn’t even let negative headlines get to her anymore. Delina, thank you, Delfina. I absolutely relate to that, by the way, cuz I’ve also been doing what I do now even longer than Taylor Swift. Um, but she said, you know, Taylor said on the podcast that Travis that she could sometimes see an article with her name in the headline and and she’s like, “That’s not my business. That one, that part was where most people thought she might have been talking about Blake Lively. That’s not my Lucy. What the freaky frack? Thank you, Lucy. Welcome, bride. Welcome, Chris. Welcome, ex Paul. Um, I love that Taylor and Travis have been dating over two years now. Over the 2-year mark. So, they are settled in their relationship. They are comfortable with one another. Their body language is giving synergy and they are unafraid to be public. And actually, I love that she used this podcast to launch the new era because the podcast is what brought Taylor and Travis together. remember he shot his shot on his podcast and Jason Kelsey Travis’s brother kind of joked like, “How did you not think that my brother was crazy?” And she said, “I just got together in a room with him and you know I I I could just tell he wasn’t crazy.” And actually, you know, he he learned he got like the biggest crush on her real quick after seeing her in concert and he just like instantly knew what she wanted or what would make her happy. Like she had written songs in high school about grand romantic gestures like this, like what Travis Kelsey did to get close to her, saying that he made her a friendship bracelet and wanted to give it to her. Although we found out new details on the podcast, like the fact that Travis had not pre-arranged anything. He didn’t reach out to her management to let them know that he was going to the show. He thought because he was a star player for the Kansas City Chiefs and he knows everybody that works at the stadium that he would be able to get access to her and he wasn’t able to. Oh my god, I loved it. I loved I loved just as an OG Swifty Oh, welcome Danny. as a day one Taylor fan and and if you’re just joining in, we’ll talk Blake after this. I loved getting some updates about her family cuz cuz I don’t know. I feel like Taylor is like family to me. Like she makes it feel like she’s my little cousin. And I’ve met her parents so many times each of them. Like I have so many guitar picks that Scott gave has given me over the years. Um, and it was just meaningful to get an update on her father and he had heart surgery and she spent the summer with him and to get an update on her mother and the knee surgery that she got and saying how both parents got upgraded this summer. Hey Becky. um you know, hearing how everything came about. You know what actually though I didn’t really care about the whole I mean I loved all of it and this was Taylor’s podcast debut. One of my least interesting parts was I feel like they went a little too long talking about getting her master recordings back and the re-records and all that. I mean, I liked hearing that, but it felt like, okay, whatever. I was way more interested in hearing Taylor talk about the next album, which she did, which if you haven’t seen or heard her podcast appearance with Travis, her next album is going to be inspired by Falling in Love. And I love that Travis is an Easter egg. Like Travis is not really good at keeping secrets. I mean, I feel like we learned so much sonically by the visuals and by how Travis spoke about it. Like Travis said bangers. All bangers. Travis said bright. And the color for this era is orange. That’s very bright, sunny, happy. This leads me to believe that all of the leaked songs are fake. as one of my swift sources told me. However, I don’t know if anybody got a little bit of anxiety. It worried me. Oh, Polly, thank you. Yeah, exactly, Becky. He doesn’t have a poker face. Oh, welcome. Um, it worried me how much Taylor hyped up this next album. Like, she made it seem like it’s the best thing she’s ever done. And she did work with one of the biggest geniuses in pop history on it. As I’ve told you, she worked with Max Martin, who is the maestro responsible for some of the biggest hits from the Backstreet Boys to In Sync to Britney Spears to Taylor herself. Max worked on most of 1989. He worked on a little bit of Reputation. He worked on some of uh Red also. And this other producer writer named Shellback also worked with them. and Taylor, you know, not only is this body of work, the life of a showgirl, inspired by where she was while on the era’s tour, she recorded the album while on tour. She was so tired and exhausted, but also creatively so fulfilled that she was so happy on her off days to go to Sweden and work on this album there. I can’t wait to hear it. Like my guess is a lot of love songs, but maybe not. Like so there might be, you know, like like um like I mentioned yesterday the song Ruin the Friendship. Did I mention that yesterday? I think I did. There’s a song called Ruin the Friendship, which might be about Blake. There’s another song called Cancelled. Cancelled might also be about Blake. You know what, Don? I think we’re wrong. I think you’re wrong about that. You know what? One of the great things about watching the Taylor and Travis podcast interview is while I still might have some question marks and and Taylor was a little defensive about this. I don’t know if anybody else caught this, but Taylor um you know, she brought up the word esoteric and I forget how it how it came up, but Taylor said, “Oh, he knows what that word means.” You know, did anybody else catch that? Or um there was another point where they were talking about Hamlet which might be an Easter egg cuz there is a song called the life of Oilia on the album or the what’s the what is it? Let me see. The life of Oilia or something like that. Let me see if I can pull Let me pull up the track listing. Hold on. The Fate of Oilia. That’s the name of it. The Fate of Roil. Oilia. Um, there’s some some interesting names. The Fate of Oilia, Elizabeth Taylor, Opalite, father figure, eldest daughter, ruined the friendship, actually romantic, wish list, wood, cancelled, all caps and exclamation mark. and um Honey and then The Life of a Showgirl with with Sabrina Carpenter. And you know what also made me happy? Oh, thank God. Listen, with everything, I’m all about keeping it real. I’m always on team truth. My truth, the truth, being honest. I was so relieved when Taylor said there are not going to be more songs cuz remember when she dropped the tortured poets department and then like the next day or a few hours later she’s like surprise it’s a double album. There’s like 12 or 14 more songs. Um I’m so happy it’s just 12 songs. 12 songs for her 12th album. 12 songs for her 12th album. Very well curated. She it seemed like according to what how she described it like just the best of the best. And um I’m so stoked. I’m so stoked. And to go back to what I didn’t complete a minute ago, you know, I’ve always had my question marks about the relationship between Taylor and Travis just because I’m not saying I don’t I really don’t want this to be misconstrued. He even said it himself, you know, like Travis Kelsey called his girlfriend the smartest woman on the planet. And I would I would co-sign that. Like maybe not the but she’s a Taylor Swift is highly smart and highly intellectual. Um, and it just made me think like in the long run, can you really be compatible for decades with somebody that is not close to your intellect? Like, not that I’m not saying he’s dumb or anything like that. Do you know what I mean? Um, but hearing both of them talk, there’s two things that came through. One, they clearly feel safe with each other and that feeling of safety in a relationship. God, I’ve been talking about Taylor for so long now. I I could like I love talking Taylor Swift. Travis and Taylor feel safe with each other. He makes her feel safe. He clearly adores her. adores her and is proud of her and is supportive of her and was excited to get to know her and her music cuz you know Travis Kelsey was not a Taylor Swift fan before he started dating Taylor Swift and honestly she probably liked that. She probably liked that. She’s like I don’t want to date a fan. He wasn’t he most likely was not a Taylor Swift fan before they started dating and then he saw her live and in concert and just like fell under her spell and he’s like, “Oh my god, I’m hypnotized.” Um, and likewise, you know, like she was not a sports she was not she’s still not a sports fan. She was not a football fan prior to dating Travis, but she now knows a lot and became familiar with it all. And they share the same values. They talked about their values on the podcast and I love that. Like I think they could I think they could make it last and I’m excited for one last tour and then girly better take a break and have me some babies. You know what I’m saying? It’s time. It’s time. Unless she doesn’t want to have kids. That’s possible. But um you know she’s 35 now is a good time I would say. Um yeah like after the album release like a tour next summer. Next summer would be their three-year anniversary. I think after 3 years of dating, you know, you know, after 3 years of dating, I would think. I’ve never dated anybody for 3 years, but I think after 3 years of dating, you know, if it’s going to last, you know, if you want to get married, you know, if you want to have kids with that person. So, after the next tour next summer, hopefully we’ll get some some Kelsey babies. Godfather Perez. Um, what else? Y’all, y’all, I do have to make a reminder, a second public service announcement. You all know how I feel about sourdough bread. Taylor spent so much time talking about sourdough bread. I’m not a fan of sourdough. It’s my least favorite bread. I prefer basic American white bread over sourdough. I love nothing about sourdough. Give me a good fkatcha. Give me give me some cheesy bread. Like I like give me naan. Give me like literally like I love all bread, but I hate sourdough. Hate it. Hate. I know it’s healthy. I don’t want healthy bread. Bread is not supposed to be healthy. I don’t want sourdough. I want yummy bread. I mean, she made it sound fun like, “Oh, I put sprinkles in it and whatever.” Or like she has got like a She said she had like a cinnamon one or something. Jalapeno cheddar bread. Anyways, I loved I loved learning that Taylor is a knitter. She knits, makes two types of things, and does those two types of knittings very well. Like I’m so hap watch watching that podcast interview brought me so much joy because I’ve really this week last week too but like this week I want to be done with Blake Lively. Like I’m almost like I’m I’m actually I’m very realistic. I think that this judge in New York is gonna is biased is my opinion and I think he’s gonna rule against me and in her favor and say that he does have the jurisdiction to compel me to, you know, hand over everything that she’s asking of me. Um, and I’m I would kind of be relieved to be honest. Like I’m like, “All right, fine. Let me be Let me just freaking be done with this. Oh my god, that’s a great question, Becky. I watched it afterwards, but they still cut off, so I had to go to Apple Podcast and listen to the to the I don’t even know how they were able to do this. Today, I checked and the final 20 or 25 minutes that were missing from the Taylor and Travis podcast showed up on YouTube. I loved watching it. Although, you know what? If I’m gonna, you know, I like to be honest, it was kind of weird that Jason asked almost all the questions. Like, why is Jason interviewing Taylor? Like, you know, Travis could have asked some questions, too. I know, Becky. I don’t know how the end is there now. How are they able to do that? Like, how do you edit or add to a video that’s already live? I have no idea cuz it had all of the the views. It’s not like a new video. It’s pretty wild. Um, all right. Let’s talk about Blake Lively. Bodin, Bane, I’m begging of you. Please don’t take my man. Um, Blake Lively is doing hella damage control. There have been multiple articles that have come out over the last day and a half claiming that none of the upcoming Taylor Swift songs are about Blake Lively and that fans would just be making things up. Um, how the hell do you know? I don’t know if I believe that. I think that’s what Blake Lively’s people want us to believe. Until I hear the album, we don’t know. Okay. And the album doesn’t come out until October. Um, I think there’s a really good possibility that there might be a couple songs about Blake Lively on the album cuz Taylor is no fool. Taylor knows if she’s got a one or two Blake Lively songs that’ll get a ton of attention. And fair is fair. She’s she’s written songs about other relationships, romantic and non-romantic. You know, she t she wrote a song about Katy Perry. Oh, baby, now we got bad blood. You know, it used to be mad love. So, if she did that about Katy Perry, what makes you think she wouldn’t write a song about Blake Lively? Huh? Huh? Oh, sugar queen. Thank you. Watermelon sugar. Watermelon sugar. Watermelon sugar. Okay. Sorry. Um, all right. Speaking of Speaking of Taylor Swift and I’m just like Anyways, sorry my sister was texting me like um speaking of Taylor Swift and Blake Lively, there’s also been a couple of articles about how I want to read this verbatim. Back in August of last year, the social team aka Jed Wallace um had a concern and this is what was communicated to the Baldon Wayfairer parties. quote, “The social team are now worried about Blake activating the Taylor Swift fan base, which is a major concern. With this in mind to and to ensure Justin and the studio are 100% protected moving forward, they have now changed the fee to $30,000 per month due to the uptick in social chatter. That’s true. Ray Kennedy, the album is coming out on Mean Girls Day. Oopsies. Oh, baby. Now we got Bad Blood. You know, it used to be mad love. Anyways, um I don’t think that $30,000 a month for a studio, you know, Wayfair Studios, charging a studio, $30,000 a month. I don’t think that’s too much. Um especially cuz these people, they work on retainer, but for usually like shorter contracts, like 3 months or so. um instead of like, oh, a year-long retainer that like a traditional publicist would would have with a with a client. Um, additionally, last night, Jed Wallace, this guy that we just talked about now, the one that lives in Texas and works in Texas, he filed another motion to be dismissed from Blake Lively’s lawsuit with a very interesting declaration, a declaration from Melissa Nathan, the crisis PR expert, that said in 202 24. She did not live in New York City cuz Blake Lively was trying to make the connection that Melissa Nathan hired Jed Wallace. And that was the connection that Jed Wallace had to New York. But Melissa Nathan said, “Hey, I hadn’t lived in New York City since 2021.” Let me see here. I think that’s the exact s Yeah. Yes. In her declaration, she says, “I have been a citizen of California and have been doiciled there since 2021. I never lived in Brooklyn or anywhere else in New York during the period of time when Street Relations was engaged by Wayfairer Studios. I think the judge who already once dismissed Jed Wallace from Blake Lively’s complaint will dismiss him. Or you know what? I don’t know cuz I also think this judge is biased, crooked, corrupt in her pocket. So, who knows how the judge will rule. A thank you, Don. But fingers crossed for Jed. All right. I said, “Oh, oh, oh, oh, and thank you.” Thank you, Andovi. Um, what was I going to say? Um, moving on. Let’s wrap up our Blake Lively section and we’ll move to to Megan Markle. But before that, you know, they don’t call me Perez for nothing. I know how things work and I can also see the future. As I’ve said repeatedly, Ryan Reynolds will emerge from this all unscathed. And Blake Lively will be just fine so long as she stays married to Ryan Reynolds. And I do believe that Blake and Ryan will stay married because this experience of the It Ends With Us saga has traumab bonded them. So, I don’t think they’re breaking up. I think in fact they’re they’re closer and stronger than ever, but I haven’t mentioned this on a live or in a video yet. Oh, thank you, Jennifer. Not only is Ryan Reynolds unscathed, he’s already got a a huge next project lined up, he teased that he’s going to be appearing in the upcoming Avengers movie. That’s right. Deadpool will most likely be in the next Avengers movie, which I know it’s going to be a huge hit. It’s going to be a huge hit. and Ryan Reynolds will be a part of another huge box office sensation. Reynolds posted a picture of the Avengers logo, the A, and then he drew the Anarchist A on top of it, hinting strongly that Deadpool will be appearing in the next Avengers movie. Well, that’s good work if you can get it. Anamarie, I would love to be in a superhero movie. That is the picture he stole. Becky, I don’t I didn’t know that. Are you sure? I have not seen that yet, but that’s interesting to hear. Uh, in other interesting news, you guys, if you’re watching my lives daily, you know that I’ve talked about Demi Lovado’s new song, Fast. You know that I Oh, not Boda. Thank you. Thank you, Not Boda. You know that I’ve talked about Demiy’s new song fast and that I really like it. But what did I say two minutes ago? I said they call me Perez Adamus. Bammy. Thank you, Bammy. I said they call me Perez. And I said I didn’t even think Demiy’s new song. I said this on a live and I said it on my podcast. There’s multiple videos. I said I don’t I said I like Demiy’s new song Fast. It’s giving me Charlie XCX ripoff, but I like it. It made me happy. I think it’s a hot song. And I said, I don’t think it’s going to debut in the top 100. And it hasn’t. That’s embarrassing. That’s sad. Demi released her first song in a long time. Thank you, Sacred Force. Demi released her first song in a long time and it couldn’t even chart. It couldn’t even crack the Billboard Hot 100. Demiy’s had a lot of hits. Neon Nights, Cool for the Summer, um, a lot. Uh, I forget all the other ones, but um, this is me was maybe a hit song, but her new song couldn’t even debut in the Hot 100. Ayay. Oh well. But I do have some good Demi Lovado news to share with you all. She and the Jonas Brothers, according to what I saw online, are returning for Camp Rock 3. Will that be successful? I feel like if it’s on the Disney Channel, nobody will care. But if they release it in the theaters, that could do well. I feel like that it needs to be a theatrical release. That would be cool. Also, oh my god, I’m so happy for her, you guys. Lindsay Lohan is done with all of these comedies that she’s been doing, you know, from Freakier Friday to the her Netflix films that that were comedies that she’s made, uh, a holiday movie as well. She’s now, you know, going to do something serious. Lindsay Lohan is going to be starring in a new Hulu show called Count My Lives, a limited series starring her and co-starring Shayen Woodley. and it comes from former This Is Us executive producers, co-runners Isaac Aptiker and Elizabeth Berger. The project is based on the recently published novel by Sophie Stava. Lindsay and Shayene will executive produce as well as star in the series. I don’t know what that book is about. Let’s see. This twisty debut novel about a young woman named Sloan, a habitual liar who finds work as a nanny for a perfect New York couple. Has garnered comparisons to Gone Girl. Devilishly plotted. Keeps the pages turning. Sounds cool. I’m into it. Um, all right. Speaking of television, remember how I told you all that um Megan Markle got dropped by Netflix? I think there was some major damage control bringing that phrase back done here because it’s now been announced that Netflix is continuing their partnership with Megan Markle and Prince Harry just in a different capacity. instead of an exclusive deal, they now have a firstlook deal, meaning um they get less money for a first look deal. And it’s just about saving face, I think. Um and they also will continue as partners for Megan’s as ever brand. But good luck to Megan and Harry. Like they keep cranking out content that people don’t want to watch. Like all this aspirational stuff, that’s not what people want to watch from them, is it? I don’t know. I could be wrong. I could be wrong. Also, speaking of television news, Beyonce just won an Emmy for Netflix for the Beyonce Bowl. Uh she won her first prime time Emmy in uh for being a costume designer. Yes, Beyonce was a costume designer on the Beyonce Bowl special on Netflix. Congrats. She’s that much closer to being an egot. And that is it for today, my friend.
