      Props to her for not signing even though she’s probably going to wind up in prison. I hope she’s got a good team of lawyers.

      I asked this in another thread, but didn’t get an answer. Can someone help me out to understand what’s happening here? It’s not clear to me what happens if she just gets up and walks out on her own? Are there police escorts waiting outside who will “escort” her anyway, whether she likes it or not? I 100% stand by her refusing to sign anything, but I’m just not understanding what the consequences will be if she gets up and goes home without signing.

      (Not in the US, BTW.)

      I feel like every day, I say “I am shocked but not surprised” and “this is truly the worst timeline”. Our coal mine canaries are all dead, and the violence is becoming increasingly visible against us all.

      I’m glad that Rep Collier has the ability to get sleep items brought in for her.

      Very disappointing that a black woman has to do this while social media darling James Talarico sits it out along with the rest of the Dems. And seeing TX Dem Caucus Chair Gene Wu justifying that by saying how “everyone resists in their own way” while praising the cops who are holding them hostage is just a perfect encapsulation of the TX Dems.
