Go to the court and watch some ordinary court proceedings ASAP – BEFORE yours – you will get comfortable with the proceedings in that court so they don't throw you on your day. The opposition will know you are Pro Se and might try to intimidate you with their experience. By knowing what an ordinary day looked like prior you will have some advantage noticing any differences.

Note: for court. The interrogatory Lively is using to justify your subpoena which TAG responded too did not actually state that you seeded, generated, created, or provided digital media service for any party. They only waved to the fact there was communication with you up to the present date in your news gathering! You need to hammer this home. It's not enough to just say you weren't involved at that time of smear campaign, you need to take out the evidence she is bringing to court or bring it yourself. Exhibit 1 TAG supplemental responses and objections to BL first set of interrogatories.
Not to be pessimistic or perhaps I am. . .but I don't believe the truth is enough. It is also about how you present it, whether you are convincing and/or what hard evidence you have. In a case with little to no hard evidence, it is all like a game it seems. At least in my point of view. It's the same reason why some criminals get away with their crimes. So please, be careful. If you are doing this pro se, perfectly fine but perhaps get legal advice on how to present yourself pro se by a lawyer that is not Freedman (just in case since you know he is being targeted at the moment). You can look some caselaw up ahead of time, concerning a reporters right to privacy and not to give out his sources.
