Lil Nas X is hospitalized after a bizarre scene in L.A. — he was strolling down the middle of a major street early Thursday morning, wearing only his underwear and cowboy boots!!!
TMZ Hip Hop obtained video of the "Old Town Road" rapper nearly naked, and floating aimlessly down Ventura Blvd at 4 AM. Someone driving past him recorded Nas, who repeatedly pointed at the camera and muttered something about heading to a party — and at one point, he placed an orange traffic cone on his head.
Our sources say others in the Studio City area noticed Lil Nas, and thought the whole thing was weird enough to report it to police. As it turns out, several people in the area had reported this to LAPD as a possible overdose.
We're told officers responded and found him still walking down the middle of the road, and after Nas charged at officers … they subdued him and put him in handcuffs. Officers then called for the paramedics to transport him to a hospital.
Law enforcement sources tell us, Nas could still face charges … but for now he's still getting treated at the hospital.
We've reached out to his reps, but so far no word back.

I hope he’s okay! He’s genuinely very talented and I hope to hear more music from him. However, his mental and physical health should come first.
This makes me really sad. I remember when he blew up, people found his mother (who has struggled with addiction his whole life) high on drugs, filmed her, and posted it online to bash him for not using his new money to help. He actually got really vulnerable online saying they don’t know how much his family has tried to get his mom help and they had been through a lot with her.
Children of addicts are at such a greater risk of developing addictions themselves and it’s sad to see him potentially affected by that cycle.
I love him and I hope he’s ok regardless
I really, really hope this isn’t what it appears to be. I want him to be healthy, safe and happy, and as far from the health care and LEO systems as possible

Oh man, I was just thinking about him the other day since some of his music came up on my playlist! I really felt like he brings something unique to music scene and am eager to see what puts out next since it’s been a bit. This is a bummer to see and I hope he can get the help he needs. He blew up when he was pretty young and I know young stardom can really do a number on someone. I hope he can feel better and get back on track.
I really hope this is a stunt. He’s such a talent and seems like such a kind person. At his Chicago show a few years ago he went outside himself to advocate for some furries to be able to get in without removing their suits, that’s so real and chill
