Smiling while getting arrested for assault makes it much worse IMO. No remorse.
This is how I learn they named their son Mingus Reedus.

So he called the police because of an alleged suicide attempt and she’s accused him of hitting her when the police have shown up

A name change and apology from his parents, may work wonders for his rehabilitation
The name is homage to Charles Mingus, a jazz musician. I provide this info not to excuse it, it’s a terrible name, but at least provide context.
You can just feel what an entitled POS he is just from the pictures
I feel like if you name your child Mingus you should expect him to turn out like a total Dingus.
