Fantastic display of solidarity and I totally agree. Israel is actively committing a genocide and should be banned.

Nobody gives a fuck anymore Bambie, should’ve boycotted when it would have made a difference tbh (I’m Irish and there was a big call for them to boycott rather than be hugely hypocritical)
They were one of the acts at ESC 2024 who got the brunt of taunting/harassment from the Isr*eli delegation. Including being called a demon and mocked on an SNL-type show after the contest. They were also forced by the EBU to remove Ogham script from their face that read ‘ceasefire’ just before performing.
Can’t blame them for taking this stance.

Bambie actually got a lot of criticism from pro-Palestine people in Ireland for taking part last year but I think they were right to – they did way to more to piss off Israel than if they boycotted!

seems a bit pointless now imo. the call to ban israel from eurovision is def bigger this year but it was still a huge convo in 2024. bambie thug was obvs aware of this bc they had spoken out about palestine at the time. like yeah great sentiment ig. shame you didn’t feel the same way last year when you were, yknow, actually at eurovision 🙃
