I love how the original main three (and other cast members) are distancing themselves from her and now also the director.

JK really tainted her own work :/

    2. Full quote:

      > “I like to sometimes separate the artist from the art, I think that’s important to do,” he says. “It’s unfortunate, what’s happened. I certainly don’t agree with what she’s talking about. But it’s just sad, it’s very sad.”

I don’t like it when people misuse ‘separate the art and the artist’ in this way. That phrase refers to separating the artist’s intention from what you get from the art – it doesn’t mean not considering the artist in what you consume, especially when the artist is still alive and using the proceeds from their works to harm people.

But yes, it is sad, and I’m glad he realizes that JKR is dead wrong.

It **is** quite sad when a woman of money, influence, and power vows publicly to destroy the lives of strangers because she herself is clearly dealing with personal shit. It’s sad she won’t get help. It’s sad she’s being encouraged. It’s sad that no one validated her when she was younger. It’s sad that she’s trying to make the rest of us as miserable and hateful as she is.

    4. Separation of art from artist doesn’t work when the ghoul is actively using her power, money, and influence to help enact laws that purposefully target trans people and especially trans women.

I need her gone and fuck this series too. Signed a former fan sxxgdf.
