This past April, the actress confirmed in a live broadcast that she was dating a famous kpop idol, and asked his fans to stop harassing her: “Just because the idol you love loves me doesn’t mean I deserve to be hated. It’s not like I made the first move. So please, stop coming at me. Alright? You seriously have no idea what I might expose if I lose my temper. I’ve been a fan for years and never heard a single rumor about this, so seeing OP say it’s been “rumored since 2022” is news to me, lol. Not too sure how to make this video counts as confirmation, but whatever. I just hope people in general can be normal about this (which, I know, is asking a lot).
Not to be That Person, but Jimin has never hinted at their relationship – the only person who ever posted videos is her. Jimin is also a pretty private person; he rarely even posts pictures of himself anymore. So that, combined with the fact that this video seems to be several years old, makes me feel like this is a scorned ex type of situation :/

she’s been posting little ‘hints’ for like 2 years now and then deleting them within hours, then saying “oh why would you all say these things about dating to me?” as if everyone made it up

This was posted without his consent by someone who is invading his privacy. No one cares who he dates, but he is notoriously private and generally offline. He never shares about his personal relationships.
Fans don’t want his privacy invaded by someone with an ax to grind. Bad actors think his fans will react negatively to him interacting with women, but that itself is a misogynistic view of his fan base. This video seems to be from 2020 or so, clearly posted to harass him. If he was super public, it would be different. This person seems like they have violated his trust and this shouldn’t be spread.

her posts about him have always felt a little off – a lot of the things she’s been posting haven’t been cute bf pics and vids, they’ve been random videos from years ago from publicly released photoshoots of jimin, or of her in BTS t-shirts, which she posts back to back and then quickly deletes. i can totally get behind being sick of fans and just wanting to post your partner and ignore the backlash, but her choice of posts for years now has been a little odd. she’s also seemingly never posted anything filmed after 2021, even though she’s been posting about him for the last three years. even this video seems to be at least five years old based on what jimin looks like here.
jimin is also extremely private and never shares anything about his personal life anymore, so either they’re together and have been for years, and he’s happy with her posting random old videos of him, receiving a massive shitstorm of hate and then quickly deleting again, or they’re not together (/anymore) and she’s posting these old videos of him without permission. either way seems a bit weird.
it’s also been said that she’s done this before with other celebrities who have then denied knowing her, but i don’t have a source on hand to back that up, so take it with a huge pinch of salt. (edit: someone down the thread has added sources) i think she also denied knowing jimin a while back too, which adds to the oddness.
again, i have no dog in this fight, i wish them well, just wanted to add context as this has felt a bit off for years and now it’s hitting the mainstream

Welp I hope she got his permission, I think HYBE would’ve released an official statement if they wanted to let the public know 😬maybe she was under the influence when posting or upset with him. It’s great to celebrate relationships, however dating someone so well known can cause dangerous situations if one is not careful. I fear she’s going to get a lot of hate. I hope the public remembers she is human. And that Jimin does not belong to them, he is his own person.
