If I could offer A Minor opinion, this doc looks interesting…on the level of “Quiet on the Set”.
I wanna know who told Miriam that she needed even an ounce of that work!! She was always so gorg
Degrassi was and still is one of the best, and in my opinion, important teen shows ever made. My parents gave me a bunch of arbitrary, outdated rules and expected me to just follow them blindly and refused to engage in discussions about actual issues I was facing as a teen. Sorry mom and dad, there is a reason Leave It To Beaver was canceled. Degrassi made it safe to explore “unsafe” topics in a way that didn’t feel like a lecture.
And I’ll be watching.
Ack, this show! 😭 It still holds up beautifully (I’m 43, so I would’ve watched the original series – all the episodes are on YouTube btw!)
There’s a sincerity to it, without it being po-faced. It really went there at times too.The two-parter where Wheels runs away to find his birth father is up there with some of the best tv I’ve seen.

This was my show growing up, it was everything to me (seasons 1-5, but I enjoy season 6 for the Paige Canadian Thanksgiving episode). I’ll be watching for sure.
