Bad blood for the BFFs. Blake Lively reportedly won’t reach out to Taylor Swift to congratulate her on her engagement to Travis Kelce after their longtime friendship fell apart this year. A source told the Daily Mail, Blake didn’t reach out following the engagement announcement and isn’t going to. This isn’t the time. What would be the point of reaching out now? It really makes no sense. Lively has bigger fish to fry. The outlet reported that the Gossip Girl alum doesn’t talk about Taylor at all and doesn’t ponder on what their friendship could have been. The insider said there’s no will she or won’t she about Blake being in the wedding because she just won’t. She knows that and I don’t think she particularly wants to talk about that. The source also claimed that Blake isn’t sitting at home obsessing about Taylor getting engaged because she’s got her own life to focus on. Taylor and Blake’s friendship reportedly imploded earlier this year after messy details emerged from Blake’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni over It Ends With Us. In January, Justin, who was both the movie’s director and male lead, filed a $400 million suit against his co-star Blake, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist, alleging defamation, extortion, and more. In the docs, Justin shared texts from Blake showing a discussion they had about Taylor, where she called her one of her dragons in an apparent Game of Thrones inspired power play. Taylor didn’t like that. A source close to the pop star told People, “Their friendship has halted. Taylor wants no part in this drama.” Justin’s defamation suit was thrown out by a judge in June, but their legal battle is far from over. Blake’s alleged sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin is set to go to trial in March 2026. Mark your calendars.
