Disney Princesses Share What They Learned From Their Characters #disney #worldprincessweek #princess
Each of your princesses have left a unique mark in Disney history. What’s something you’ve learned from your own character that you carry with you? Ariel has taught me two things. Love unconditionally. It’s it’s a quality that I admire so much in in that character. The other thing is she’s super tenacious. Like the door is closed and she’s just going to pound on through until it slams in her face. I feel like I’ve learned how to be stronger in that area. Belle’s taught me to to follow your dreams. Follow your heart. And I think as I’ve gotten older, now I’m the oldest princess, I realized the message of don’t judge a book by its cover. Always look, the beauty is within. I never expected to truly go this far beyond the reef. I grew up in a very small town on a small island and I grew up in a single parent household. I love what I do. I love playing pretend for a living. I would have never had this experience without Moana and without Disney. I too come from a very small town that held a lot of naysayers when I was trying to do the thing that I wanted to do. And I think we both share a perseverance. For every dream that is dashed, there is another. There is a bigger one waiting around the corner. And all you have to do is keep walking, keep moving.
