Baby Pigmy Hippo Mars Goes Viral for Refusing to Get Out of Pool | E! News
Meet Mars, the viral pygmy hippo. At Tangana Wildlife Park in Gddard, Kansas, a baby pygmy hippo named Mars is becoming a viral internet sensation after refusing to leave his pool. The footage, which has been viewed more than 50 million times on Tik Tok, shows the hippo trying to stay in the water despite the zookeepers attempting to pull Mars out. [Music] However, things quickly end when Mars’s mother approaches, gives one mom stare, and is quickly followed with Mars getting out of the pool. [Music] I do. [Music] According to the wildlife park, Mars is one of only three pygmy hippos born in the US last year and one of roughly 3,000 left in the wild. Mars even caught the attention of Kylie Kelsey, who reacts to the viral clip with her mom perspective on the latest episode of her podcast, Not Going to Lie with Kylie Kelsey. Oh, mom’s giving him the look. And mom gave him the look. She came over to the edge of the pool. She said, “You get your out of there.” His mom, Posie, hit him with the mom face.
